DACIA COMMITS TO THE RALLY-RAID

For the first time as a manufacturer, Dacia will participate in the World Rally-Raid Championship, with three teams consisting of experienced drivers: Sébastien Loeb, Cristina Gutierrez Herrero and Nasser Al-Attiyah.

A low environmental impact car dedicated to racing

Sandrider will test low-carbon emission energy solutions, such as more sustainable fuel made from over 80% biomass. He will also test new technical features that adapt to the needs and performance of the drivers.

Enhanced visibility thanks to a short and plunging hood design and anti-glare paint on the upper part of the dashboard.

Dacia x Dakar pilotes
Cristina Gutierrez Herrero and Pablo Moreno Huete
32 years-old Spanish rally driver, Cristina is one of the leading female figures in the world of off-road rallying. 
She won the T3 category in the Rally-Raid World Cup in 2021 and has participated in the Dakar Rally eight times since 2017. 

Cristina Gutierrez Herrero’s copilot is Pablo Moreno Huete.
Dacia x Dakar pilotes
Sébastien Loeb and Fabian Lurquin
French rally driver aged 49, Sébastien won the World Rally Championship 9 times consecutively from 2004 to 2012. 
He is the most successful driver in motorsport history and often considered the greatest rally driver of all time. 

Sébastien Loeb’s copilot is Fabian Lurquin.
Dacia x Dakar pilotes
Nasser Al-Attiyah and Edouard Boulanger
5 time winner of the Cross-Country Rally World Cup and double winner of the Rally-Raid World Championship, among other achievements, the 53-year-old Qatari boasts an impressive record. 
A true legend of the Dakar, he has clinched victory in this iconic event five times in 2011, 2015, 2019, 2022, and 2023.

Nasser Al Attiyah’s copilot is Edouard Boulanger.
